Services · Consultations

Start with a conversation, not a catalog.

Before a single product is specified, we listen — to how your teams work, the space you have, and the budget the project must live within. A Roberts consultation pairs you with an in-house design team that has specified, remanufactured, and installed office environments since 1991.

How a consultation works

We learn the floor before we quote it.

From the first conversation to a plan you can act on, the work is built around your space and the way your organization actually operates — not a catalog.

01
Listen

Needs assessment

A two-way conversation about your organization, how your people work and collaborate, your space and layout, your office culture, your aesthetic vision, and your budget — the foundation for everything that follows.

02
Audit

Existing-asset review

We take inventory of the furniture you already own and determine what to keep, reconfigure, or remanufacture. Pieces no longer suitable can move through our Product Exchange program — value you don't re-buy.

03
Plan

Options and a path forward

Our design team identifies furniture, systems, styles, and price-point options for your consideration, then carries the project into space planning and a quote — new, remanufactured, or custom-milled to your specifications.

What we cover

Every factor that shapes a workspace.

A consultation goes beyond furniture. Discussing the factors that affect your environment surfaces the considerations that should be addressed before anything is specified — from accessibility to code compliance to whether the project is new construction or a renovation.

Roberts offers a full range of design services to take it from there: Space Planning, Interior Design, and LEED AP Office Consultations, supported by four LEED AP accredited designers on staff.

01Accessibility

Making the space accessible to workers and customers, including ADA considerations.

02Codes & safety

Building and fire codes, plus safety issues associated with the workspace.

03Project type

New construction, renovation of a newly acquired property, or a redesign of your current location.

04Visualization

Our designers use space-planning software so you can see the end result before you commit.
