Robert’s Office Furniture Concepts has the pleasure of acting as the Corporate Chair of the 2012 Long Branch Park Walk to Cure Diabetes. This year’s Walk is scheduled for Saturday, September 22nd at Long Branch Park in Liverpool, NY. As one of the fastest growing events in our local area, the Walk to Cure Diabetes attracts hundreds of participants ready to help find a cure for diabetes.

The growth of both the local walk and the JDRF national Walk to Cure Diabetes is astounding. In 1993 the first Walk raised $3.2 million nationwide and this year’s goal is to achieve $110 million. Instrumental to this success is the support from the growing number of local companies, organizations and families whose dedication is continuous. Participation in the Walk provides community visibility for your company and develops a sense of team spirit amongst employees.

JDRF is structured on a business-world model that efficiently and effectively directs resources to research aimed at finding a cure as soon as possible. More than 83 percent of JDRF's expenditures directly support research and research-related education. Because of its unwavering focus on its mission to find a cure, JDRF annually receives top rankings from independent sources that rate charitable giving.

New Functional Showroom Design Completed
5/2/2011

ROBERTS OFFICE FURNITURE CONCEPTS, INC. had completed the new redesign of our WORKING showroom.  Painting to begin ASAP, materials ordered in order to manufacture and remanufacture work areas.  The design was conceptualized by a collaboration of our design team and due to be rolled out in early June 2011.  Just as our clients require reconfiguration of work space, Roberts launches their own configuration due to expansion of workforce.


Roberts Hires Additional Design Professionals

Roberts Office Supply Concepts, Inc. is excited to report that they've added three (3) new design professionals to their staff to help bolster and support the increased sales initiative.  Laura Familo, Rebecca Carver and Emily SIlvers, LEED AP have joined the Roberts workforce as they continue to help grow the local economy by providing design services to existing and prospective clients.


Move to East Syracuse warehouse complete

Our 186,000-square-foot furniture inventory has been relocated to our new warehouse facility in East Syracuse, New York.

AIA Factory Tour
10/16/2009

Roberts Office Furniture extends factory tours to AIA members during work hours to demonstrate the methods, equipment and processes that Roberts uses to recreate our fully warranted “indistinguishable-from-new” products.


New showroom construction begins

Construction begins on our new 2,600 square-foot upstairs showroom displaying all sustainable products -- both new and remanufactured -- ranging from freestanding modular desks, systems furniture originally manufactured by such OEMs as Steelcase, Herman Miller and Haworth to seating, filing and storage solutions, healthcare and hospitality products, and one of the most sustainable floor-to-ceiling products the industry has to offer.



AIA Lunch and Learn

AIA Lunch and Learn is a one-hour presentation to the A&D community educating on the furniture industry as it pertains to building sustainable products, local manufacturing, LEED, product quality and lifecycles. Discussion will follow on the methods and approaches Roberts Office Furniture uses to manufacture the industry’s most pre-consumer recycled content systems furniture.



Expansion Complete

NYS defense contract purchasing agents tour

Roberts would like to welcome all NYS defense contract purchasing agents for a presentation and factory tour from 4:00 to 5:00 on behalf of Omni Procurement Solutions.  Discussions will revolve around: sustainable products; manufacturing and evolution of the office furniture industry; how Roberts Office Furniture is one of the industry leaders for all; and supporting local manufacturing and the development of small NYS businesses.


New Warehouse Location
9/2/2009

Proposal accepted for purchase of current 186,000 sq. ft. of surplus furniture to be relocated to Roberts new warehouse location for future availability to the local markets. Anticipated completion date 12/31. Photos to be updated on website representative of inventories currently available.



Space Expansion in East Syracuse
8/24/2009

Signing complete for an additional space expansion of 25,000 sq. ft. in East Syracuse in order to relocate inventory allowing for us to expand our current panel re-manufacturing and seating upholstery production department by another 9,500 sq. ft. This new facility allows for an additional 185,000 available to Roberts for future foreseeable expansion
